To be fair this Lord's pitch is probably quicker than any of the pitches they were on in the West Indies series.
Speedguns are notoriously dodgy though.

Well the speed is measured out of the hand so it can't be the pitch.
As GF said, it could be the weather allowing him to expend a little more energy.
