Zimbabwe 'A' v Australia 'A' v South Africa 'A'

I reckon going for the ton is the smart and most logical move. Still a possible 150 overs left in this match, definitely enough time to get a result.
Yeah, Australia A don't even lead by 200 yet. If Zimbabwe bat for the rest of the match then they'll pass Australia's current score anyway; there's no real point in declaring now at all as long as the runs are still coming.

NUFAN clearly a Paine sympathizer. Disgusting.
Yeah I am for sure. The fact that he doesn't give away his wicket is a big plus in the current context of Australian Cricket.

For sure. It's lunch time now, I don't even really expect Paine to declare right away if he gets 100. He will probably declare giving the bowlers 8 or so overs to take a wicket or two before tea.

Copeland WAG. Should have got the new cherry in at least one of the innings. 8-)
Yeah, bring on your medium pace swing bowler after 20 overs while giving your hit-the-deck quick bowler and your inaccurate, big-spinning, flighty off spinner the new ball overs. Awesome tactics.

Ahhhhhhhh awkward. My source in Zimbabwe informs me that Hilfenhaus and Siddle opened the bowling, so I think you're just victims of the Cricinfo scorecard.

Why is Siddle in the A squad?

One of the few Aussies to come out with head held high in ashes, is this another comeback from injury or are they just getting some overs into him before Sri Lanka.

The last, I believe. There were a fair few injuries about too.

Yeah Krejza came on first change, but it's still new ball overs really as Siddle only bowled the four.

Maybe but that was 2 good spells more than most of the rest of the attack apart from Johnson at Perth.
But see that's all he ever does. He's exactly the same as MJ. Has a great performance in an innings, does nothing for the next 3-4 innings, talk about his spot starts, gets another match and does nothing in it, is on his last chance, bam gun spell....and then does nothing for the next 3-4 innings. You can carry one bowler like this but we've got two...and then Hilf who is ****ing useless....and yet I firmly believe the selectors believe those 3 are in our best attack.
