Pity that Mathews went out. If he was still in we had some chance of posting a matchwinning total. Now we have to settle for the best we can get I think. 240 from here is decent I reckon.

Hope these two can last till the 45th and take the PP then.
Only chance I think we have of getting 220-230ish.

Yes, dirtbag has bowled a couple of decent overs, after a shocking start in perfect conditions for him.

DWTA entirely; Dernbach just needs to bowl less balls in general.
Good one.

Swann went for 0 boundaries in that 10 over spell. Obviously the batsmen had to consolidate rather than attack but not bad on a relatively spinless pitch.

Good idea from Sri Lanka, we seem to be allergic to batting powerplays, so best to use it before the tail comes in. When we bat in it we tend to lose wickets and score at a slower rate; and when we bowl with it we tend to go for runs.

Wahey Dernbitch.

 Depressing isn't it that homegrown talent can't match this.
There's Stuart Meaker down at Surrey...oh, wait....

TBF to Dernbach he's done ok today and I don't think it's a travesty he's keeping anyone else out of the team just now. I don't think Tremmers or Finn are limited overs bowlers.
