*Official* - India in West Indies

Unless you mean Raina might play cos he played well, and then Tremlett will own him.

That could be true :(

Ishant should, in theory, be a real handful especially in this passage of play leading up to the close. His rhythm looks good, his pace is up there, he has a new ball and a pitch with ample bounce and carry, knows he won't have to save anything in the tank for later in the day, light not as good, and a couple of greenhorn Test cricketers at the crease.

Tell your Indian friend to pull his head in. Half this team won't play, and you don't have a leggie.
Nah, just a reference to when Bun said the Indian bats would be smacking their lips after Lord's. All in good humour :p

Am trolling you on facebook though, bitch

Really curious to see how Ishant goes.

I can see him doing well tbh. Not saying it'll happen, but its reasonable conditions for his type of bowling imo.
Yeah, my opinion of Ishant differs from most (whereas most believe he regularly bowls poorly, I believe he simply isn't very good) but if he doesn't bowl short and wide all innings he could be a handful here.

Was about to say Ishant was bowling some good lines, but he promptly sprays a couple way down leg.

Both well taken by Dhoni tho.

Gah, shattered and need to go to bed. Always forget how awesome a timezone the Carribbean is for Tests though. Better than the home season tbh. When are we next there?!

Apparantly, Mishra is off the pitch with an injured hand. After trying to protest he didn't get him on the glove.

The jokes write themselves, eh?

It does seem rather bizarre to see a bowler of Praveen Kumar's pace selected for a Test team coached by Duncan Fletcher. When coach of England he seemed obsessed with selecting the fastest bowlers available even if they had made little or no impression in county cricket, and domestic bowling statistics were considered largely irrelevant.

Struggled with his line in this spell, Ishant. Looks much more threatening when he's slanting the ball in to around off stump, I know the Simmons delivery was a straighter one, but he's invariably slipped down legside far too frequently. Get it back to around about off stump Ishant.
