Even on the first day it was doing odd things tbh. The SL bowlers just made it look a lot flatter than it was.
Would argue just about all movement on the first two days was through the air. It only started playing up around the third day. Which in a sense would be excellent, if only it were a bit quicker. ****ing rain though.

The variable bounce was evident from Broad's second over.

Longish tail for Sri Lanka too. I know Prasanna scored a ton in the first dig but the he and Maharoof are both batting a spot too high.

For all those who said Morkel is better than any English seamer bar Anderson and it isn't close I'd suggest they watch this spell from the big fella.
