So been watching this and yet again and it stands out so clearly how far ahead of everyone else the Sky commentary is. It ought to be embarrassing for the rest of the world, particularly the subcontinent and their commentary, let alone the production value of their broadcasts.

Thisara Perera is very watcheable as a batsman too. Expecting him to be dismissed near every delivery due to his approach, but he makes it very entertaining.

He doesn't look like a mug with the bat. Seems very comfortable against short pitched stuff too; perhaps Tremlett would be better off abandoning his natural back of a length while bowling to him.

I don't know, he got one bouncer away but that was a wide one, the others that Tremlett bowled, even when it was just back of a length, he looked uncomfortable against. When it's too full he hit's it well.

I think the rub of the green has certainly been with SL in this Test. I've not seen the ball pass the edge so often without a nick as I have over the last 2 days, plus balls dropping just short of the catcher, and KP's woeful effort at a run out in the last session.

England wasted their Reviews too, although I sometimes feel that Hawk-Eye doesn't portray the correct line of the ball every time. Sometimes it seems to be indicating a different line to what can be seen on the slow motion shots.

Pleasantly surprised by the performances of Paranavithana and PJ here. Didn't expect them to do this well. I reckon 350 is a fantastic score if we can get there although I'm hoping we can somehow scrape our way to 400.

Bad news this, Anderson gone straight back off after his first over. If he's done for the game, England will struggle to take all the wickets.Not looking good at all.

The bowlers are obviously tired. Anderson looked really down in pace in his first over; but then he's had a long rest and may just be warming up.

I also think Sky haven't rigged the speed guns (so as to make it look more exciting on TV) just this one time.

I expect England could bat for as long as they desire against this attack. Still, is interesting that the much hyped bowlers aren't quite doing the job. I've never been a big Broad fan and you have to think that he needs wickets in this Test to keep his place 100% secure.

Yup. there's a perceptible improvement in his bowling as the game progresses.
