'Official' Pakistan in West Indies

Salman did you post this on cricinfo......I actually lol'd at this

Salman: "After success of Boom Boom, cricket is happy to present Bishoom Bishoom to the world. "
.

Nah.Wasn't me.

Rehman is more-or-less looking the part as well. He's had problems with a couple of short ones, but that apart looks fairly organised for a no. 8 batsman.

I didn't check but I would be surprised if the guy doesn't have a century or a few half-centuries in his first-class career.
Rehman is actually a pretty decent batsman. Definitely not your run of the mill tailender.

yeah Abdur Rehman can play decently well for a number 8

Akmal looks calm out there........the calm before the storm......there must be a brain implosion around the corner

Damn! They're making it too easy. The field is very defensive for my liking. The two batsmen are coming after tea and even the proper batsman, Akmal has to regroup his focus. Singles must not be conceded!

The leggie is bowling beautifully. Why would they be so defensive? :@

Have to say I'm rapidly revising my opinion of Rampaul after his WC exploits against India and recent good form. Gets excellent bounce, he's certainly not the average trundler version I remember of him.
His pace was quite good too, 86-88mph, and he's shown a lot more stamina than he used to.....

He's justified his selection ahead of Fidel.

Blimey, barely checked cricinfo in about a week. Forgot that there is still cricket in the world after all. Ran out of broadband data, couldn't watch any highlights.

So, it's been: WI in collapsing shocker, Pakistan in collapsing against random spinner shocker. The world hasn't changed much.

Sammy at least applying some pressure here, I know he has detractors, I for one don't think he should be in the side, and while he is not looking too threatening he must keep things tight from his end.
Credit where credit is due....

Sammy has bowled well on a pitch tailor-made for him, and he took his initiative in calling for the review that gave Salman out.

And another review results in a reversed decision, and Pakistan are nine down!

This is what ought to be called a "good" pitch.

The main issue with it is that it isn't really suited to the home side that much, despite the scoreline. If it were, it'd be a "very good" pitch.

There's all sorts of weird **** happening and it's more fun that way.

Anyway, all out for 160, 66 lead. A lead of 300 would almost certainly be enough here, so 230 a realistic matchwinning score. Plenty of time left is interesting. For Pakistan to be favourites, they'd have to bowl them out for around 120.

Salman, you are going to lose that bet.
What was the bet?

Him and Smali had a bet about who would take the lead by 50 runs. Smali bet that the West Indies will lead and Salman bet that Pak would lead. I think it was an avatar bet.
