Delhi would do well to drop all their domestic bowlers bar Irfan and Nadeem. A bowling attack of Morkel, Irfan, Frylinck (or McDonald), Roelof and Nadeem will be good. While it will weaken the batting a little, the weak bowling attack is currently putting things out of reach even for such a strong batting lineup. It's anybody's guess which overseas batsman they drop, but this bowling attack has to be bolstered with these overseas bowlers sooner than later.

The Sehwag-Warner partnership is cold turkey. Why GMR got rid of Gautam Gambhir and didn't try hard to get him back is a mystery. They put together lots of chunky partnerships, but the replacement partnership has never come good, except once.

santhosh: "seems there is a lot of talk going on about team loyalties. when was the last time you guys supported your ranji team?"

Awesome "stfu" to the people who were bagging Dravid and saying they are loyal to the Bangalore Royal Challengers ahead of him.
Great one!

i get the feeling gayle will go berserk in this IPL just to spite the WI selectors that dropped him.

Now i'm confused about whether or not to support RCB. They have a god awful television commercial that tries way too hard to appear cool, and fails miserably. I hate dilshan, vettori & especially kohli. on the plus side they have nannes & AB, two of my favorite cricketers. I like Gayle's cricket as well.
He needs an NOC from the WICB, first....

"The Gayle issue is complicated because all international players require an NOC from their home board before they can play in the IPL, even if, like Gayle, they are not under contract to their Board. As of now, Gayle has informed the WICB that he is not available for the West Indies versus Pakistan series and wanted to honour his IPL contract during the same period. ESPNcricinfo understands, however, that until Gayle's request for an NOC, the WICB was under the impression that Gayle was recovering from an injury."

Whoops, Mallya has apparently tweeted that Gayle will take Dilshan's spot once he leaves for SL.

Damn, this twitter thingy seems popular.

Haha, Yuvraj gone for a duck as well. This is hilarious. They'll probably set a total of about 60 and Tendulkar will be not out yet again.

Abu Nechim - one to watch. Big swing at 140kph. He has not pushed on too much domestically, but he is just 22 years old.

Malinga seems to be going for runs anyway. The less famous bowlers are the ones picking up wickets today.

Symonds wouldn't be the worst guy to throw the ball to IMO. Still he's not really needed by the looks of this attack.

He'd definitely be a better bet than Franklin FFS! :@ Dunno why Sachin gives him a couple of overs every game, he releases all the pressure.

I think Franklin was brought in to cover the number of overs. The idea is Pollard and him have to share 4 to complete their 20. Thing is, with the tail in, might as well try and bowl them out. Should have been Malinga or Nechim. Or at least Munaf.

Munaf is twiddling his thumbs with figures of 2-0-8-2 to his name and Franklin is bowling his third over.
