On the Gambhir issue, it took him a while to get going, and while he didn't look the most fluent, 69 off 75 is not a bad return.

So many batsmen do it nowadays, and it's so dumb. Makes you lose your shape, allows the bowler to bowl easy tight deliveries and takes away the possibility of the wide - not to mention half the ground as a scoring zone
