The best thing for us here is that two of our best batsmen Clarke and Ponting are getting a chance to have good look at Tahir who I think could be a very crucial bowler for the Saffers.

Does anyone else get really disappointed when sides start bringing on their 7th/8th bowler during these warm ups? It's like they've suddenly stopped taking it seriously and I shouldn't have bothered.

Consecutive 50's for Punter :), They haven't been the prettiest looking 50's but hopefully that is just a sign that Ponting is slowly returning to form.

Good to see Ponting scrap it out. Time in the middle the order of the day for the old man.

Lil' Bravo gets 54 off 78, c&b Herath. West Indies now 163/3 off 27. Perera, Fernando and Murali all going for over a run a ball thanks to Gayle.

Ireland recovering really well thanks to Botha (59*) and KoB (50* off 50). Require another 47 runs with 6 wickets and 39 balls remaining. Tough chase but KOB already has two sixes. Interesting.

Pakistan very well set thanks to Misbah (65*) and especially Shehzad (100* off 117). 197/3 off 41.4. Partnership worth 138 now, recue job done and they will look to set a hefty total.

50 for RtD, but it's looking like a losing cause for the Netherlands now.

Parnell's taken some stick. 2 overs for 15 then his first ball goes over midwicket for four.

Clarke goes for 73, shame. Would've liked to see him kick on.

Dussey and White better get some runs here now, Ponting and Clarke have done their job by building a platform for a middle order on-slaught.

Ten Doeschate has gone nuts, suddenly 81* off 80. 32 required from 26, but only 2 wickets left.

Botha out but Ireland favourites now, need 11 runs from the last two overs, KOB (57 off 58) and Wilson in.

RTD is a good player. He played down here in New Zealand and was consistent with both bat and ball and ended up MVP for the competition. That was 20/20 but he is obviously talented judging by his king one day record. Its a shame he doesn't play for a test nation tbh. I'd have him in our NZ team easy.

It would be cool if Dirk Nannes was playing for them as well. They could have caused a few surprises amongst the seemingly predictable results to come.

Its looks like Australia's middle order from 5-7 will be a real problem for them in this Indian conditions.

Dutch are better side than Kenya, so they just shouldn't have allowed the game to get so close but still RtD showing exactly why he is rated and loved by many around here.

Wow, great stuff from RtD. Looking forward to actually watching a player I've heard a great deal about on here.

Misbah gets to a hundred off 99 balls, doing all the acclelerating himself today. Shakib reigns in the innings by removing both Misbah and Afridi. Pakistan 256/6 off 47.

Ten Doeschate looking like winning this on his own for the Netherlands, 92* now. Need 11 off the final 3 overs. Two wickets left.

Ireland have completed their win by four wickets with Kevin O' Brien 62* off 61.
