Division Three Comp

Yeah we have not played a home game in the league for what seems like decades.
With the way the fixtures have fallen and the generally milder Devon climate we've managed to avoid any home postponements and have now played 13 out of 21 games at home, including the last four. Only two wins and two draws against lowly opposition to show for it but I suppose these days any four match unbeaten run can't be sniffed at.:)

8 days of action to catch up on for the Greens.

Saturday Bournemouth away <copy and paste>Another dire performance and defeat for the Greens</copy and paste>

Tuesday Huddersfield away <copy and paste>Another dire performance and defeat for the Greens</copy and paste>

Saturday Oldham home <copy and paste>Another dire performance and defeat for the Greens</copy and paste>

3 defeats, 8 goals conceded, two half decent players sold off to pay off the tax man and the Division's top scorer left out pending a move to avoid risking injury.

Hello League 2.:)

Isn't it a bit unfair if you are including cup games? Exeter and Brentford get 2 extra games?

I'm not including cup games, us and the Bees drew 1-1 on Friday too in div3, I hadn't added that yet.

Can't believe we didn't kill that tie by half-time last night, still life after Harley looks better then expected.

After 3 defeats in 8 days with 8 goals conceded I wasn't overly optimistic about the trip to MK Dons tonight, especially as they boasted the best home record in the Division. It turned out to be a very comfortable night and a 3-1 win.

That was as bad as I've seen us play this year, ****ing ****e, didn't deserve a point let alone three. Really not happy about the Ryan Harley debacle either, but ho-hum.

Scott gone, not overly surprised given our recent form and the horrible way we have been playing this whole season, he got a reasonable amount of money to spend in ths summer and the signings have not come good. Many fans been wanting him gone for a long while and he has certainly rubbed people up the wrong way at times. Having said that he did a damn good job in his first 2 and a half seasons and I will always respect him for turning things round after Butcher and getting us back in this division.

Martin Allen has apparently been at the last 3 home games, not sure what I would feel about a return for him, did a great job for us but never sure about going back to old managers.

Has anyone seen/got a link to this non-goal debacle for Colchester against Charlton? Sounds like an unmitigated cluster **** from the referee. Should it have stood?

Well SKD, is rather running away with this one, I hate football BTW.

As far as I can figure out:

* Yes, because the Colchester striker was onside
* No, because the referee blew his whistle, which stops the game

Ultimately, correct decision to disallow goal BUT monumental howler to blow whistle by accident in the first place...
