Yeah, nobody wants to criticise him without a reason. His knock today has been vintage Clarke, and these are the sort of knocks that had made him one of the best ODI batsmen around and there is no reason why he should go into the shell regardless whatever the match situation is.

Strauss has been absolutely spooked here. Getting hit for six over square leg is bad but then the vast majority of attempted/successful boundaries have been towards cover.
