Seam still acts as a rudder even with not vertical. More important that it not be scrambled than upright. People are just encouraged to keep it upright because it encourages a lot of allied stuff (seam movement, upright body position, other bowlers in the attack are more likely to bowl seam-up so you won't **** the ball up for them, slingy bowling hurts more, etc.)Lol. Was that posted before he nailed him?
How does Johnson swing it with that seam position? Defies logic. & physics too, probz.
I shudder to be taking this attack into a knockout match tbh.Such a rocks and diamonds pace attack for us tonight - Lee, Tait and Johnson. Could do anything - good or bad.
Came down the track tbf. Just no need for it.FFS. Strauss carves a meaty Smith half-volley to mid-wicket. Good take tho.
Yeah, fair call. Looks like he got a fair bit of it too, just straight to Dussey.Came down the track tbf. Just no need for it.
I mean it was actually a pretty reasonably piece of bowling. Held the carrot out for Strauss, and he bit nicely.Yeah, fair call. Looks like he got a fair bit of it too, just straight to Dussey.
Think that's a stretch too far, tbh. 95% batsman error that one. Strauss totally middled it.I mean it was actually a pretty reasonably piece of bowling. Held the carrot out for Strauss, and he bit nicely.
