Nope, I think you managed to come to that own conclusion on your own. I think neither is test class, but Smith has more potential because hes willing to toss it up. Has nothing to so with who is better at the moment, especially when instead of comparing apples with apples, we are comparing ****e with ****e +
Hence why I asked you the question. I haven't got a clue how much of Rashid you've seen playing first class cricket, but to say he doesn't toss it up is wrong. This year for Yorkshire, it is something that he has worked on and gives it far more flight and air than he did when he first came up.

Got my student ticket, and smuggled grog at the ready today....lol

Haven't been to a non-Test match game at the Gabba for at least five years, I reckon.

Would appeal to my sense of humour if the flood relief game got rained out.

They are pretty much the same bowlers atm., neither is going to have much success at Test level. Smith's future is looking brighter though as he's in the side and getting valuable experience.

Also on Smith tossing it up, problem is he doesn't get the dip so they turn into yorkers which batsman play easily. If he could toss it up above the batsman's eye-line and then get it to land on a good length, he'll be much better. He doesn't spin the ball much either.

From what i have seen of Rashid he likes to toss up his leggie but doesn't seem to have a googly and just bowls a 95-100 offie which usually he sprays down leg.

Well yeah, but I just didn't expect it to finally happen.
Haha, fair.

And despite my last post, and despite how much Yardy did indeed deserve to be dropped, I don't quite see the point of playing Woakes and Finn here while Yardy, Tredwell and Wright sit on the sidelines given the latter three will be at the World Cup.

Anyone in Melbourne just catch that shot of Brett McLeod staring at the camera for a good 5 seconds? I doubt I'll be sleeping tonight...
