Turns out Roger Federer is a big cricket fan and supports Australia. ITSTL.

I guess that is why Joni has a huge man crush for Nadal.
WAG. I bet Nadal hasn't even heard of the greatest of games.

Federer had an Aussie coach called Peter Carter who passed away in 2003. That incident was a big catalyst for his career, which was going nowhere at that stage. Tony Roche also coached him for a while, so there's probably a lot of Aussie influence. Plus he probably chose to support Australia because they won all the time, like Man U fans do.

Federer nearly moved to Australia when he was in his teens when his dad got a job out here.

We should also include High Jackman in this. He was in that "earl of twirl" thing during the Tea break and he had no trouble hitting Warne in the nets. Has more batting ability then me, that's for certain.
Nah, Warne was deliberately bowling loose balls so that Hugh could hit 'em. The last ball when he asked for a flipper was when Warne sent a real ball down. It sped past Jackman's bat even before he completed half of a square cut.

"What was that bowler's name? Was it Tremont? Tremlett? When he got those two wickets... that was nice!"

Excellent analysis.
