Speaking of gun, how awesome is this field to Harbhajan's bowling. So good for a ODI in SA conditions

India are so the perfect example in ODI cricket of the sum being so much better than the average parts, especially the bowling line up.

Ashwin hasn't had a chance to bowl to these bunnies in an ODI though tbf. Only on a postage stamp ground.

How is Albie a gun? Bowling is innocous at best and isn't suited to conditions - Kallis would have more to offer with the ball, as would Faf.

Meanwhile, he hasn't had a decent innings with the bat for some time and as an all-round cricketer just isn't up to the standard of the rest of the team.

Agreed on MVW ahead of Ingram though.

He's bowled to nothing but bunnies tbh (that 1 off ODI against Aus aside). NZ / SL (second string) / Zim.. not the greatest set of teams against spinners (SL is good but that was mostly a second string side).

... and he's done well.

Not a great shot, but Ingram and Miller's performances in this series will have increased his chances.
It would be stupid to drop him, really. He must be quite familiar with the Indian conditions by now, and he is close to the perfect number seven in a place like India; a rich man's Yousuf Pathan if you want. It wasn't that long ago that he was being touted as the next Lance Klusener.
