Watto take a bow... Great win this for us in the back drop of all that has happened and all that lies ahead.

WATSON!

WATSON!

What a knock! ATG knock.
It was certainly very good indeed. Perhaps ATG would need to be against a better attack, but he's streets ahead of anything else on view in this match. Good luck to him though.

Flawless it was IMO. Can't ask for more than that.

Indeed. You can only deal with what's on offer, which he did magnificently.

Just pisses me off how poor we were though: give me time and I'll be more gracious about it.

England will rue playing like absolute morons for the last 20 overs or so though. Really should've put us away then and there.

Didn't say it was a good innings, just not a matchlosing one.
It was certainly a match losing innings, if it had not been for Watto's superhuman effort here we would lost pretty badly. The simplest way to put it is that the RRR balloned from 5 to 7 odd from the time he got in to the time he got out.
So sorry mate... there is just no excuse here for Clarke, its just a case of him being chicken **** as a batsman....
Anyways, its not as if I'm complaining but what happened to the English attack!!! They were spot on with their yorkers and bumpers in both the T20's, but today they have all over the place....

Oh no, 7 RPO with 12 overs to go!

Mate, that's a cakewalk. You'd back yourself to win 19 times out of 20 from there. When I saw 294 on the board I would've killed to be 7 RPO required at that stage.

Close. Only blemish would be that rank slog the ball after he hit those 2 sixes.

That said he was good enough tonight where I wouldn't be that surprised if he said he meant to put it there.

Meh, the spaces square on the MCG are so big that he would've had to be horribly unlucky to find a fielder.

**** I love me some Watto. Bowls 8 overs and them comes out and bats for the whole innings. What a star.
