That is an extraordinary decision.

They should still do this though, not as if they have three Chris Martin's coming out to bat....

Rather reminiscent of my first day of Test cricket, also aged 12, against the Saffers on the 98 tour. It was a match that would go down to the wire as Croft and Fraser saved the Test and turned the series, but day one consisted of Gerry Liebenberg being **** for half an hour, followed by 90 overs of Kallis and Kirsten. Stumps came at 237/1. I didn't attend another day one until Boxing Day in Melbourne, which was altogether better.

Incidentally, when did Simon Taufel go blind?
It was Jerling.

My first test was the same series, just got to see us being destroyed by Pollock and Donnald, more entertaining no doubt,

That's genuinely awful on the boundary there from Munaf. You would have thought that, with every run at a premium, he could have been arsed to get the dive out.

...and you can see from the stifled expression of Zaheer that the rest of the team knows that's the best you can expect of him.

Fielding the most likely thing to cost India the world cup, to be honest.

Though this series also lends weight to a quality spell of fast bowling ending it for them.

Edit: k nvm.

At least Munaf Patel is an understandable case, but what on earth was that from Yuvraj Singh ? He is supposed to be one of our best fielders
