Was looking forward to seeing how much he can swing the ball in the night conditions in South Africa and put himself in contention for a test spot in England too.
But i guess it is better to not risk his injury being aggravated before the world cup.

Think both will feature together in this series but it will be hard to accommodate both if Tahir plays and Botha isn’t axed, which won’t happen of course. Interestingly Tahir isn’t likely to feature tonight which is a surprise given Kingsmead aids the spinners, its Tahir’s home ground and he has an excellent record there. Small boundaries (is a 55 meter hit on some parts of the ground) may have worked against Imran. Interestingly, if Faf features he is being lined up to bat as low as 7, that despite not being noted as a finisher/six hitter. Looking forward to see him with the ball rather than the bat tbh.
