No offense to Swann and Anderson but if you have problems in relation to availability during IPL then why on earth would you put yourself in the 400k bracket. Surely they would know availability is a factor in the bidders minds? A 100k could have been earned for a couple of games if they used their heads.

I agree with what you say and I don't know their reasons, but as far as how much they would miss, they play Sri Lanka on the 26th May and the IPL starts at the start of April I think, so when does the IPL finish?

Being placed right at the start of the auction seems to be such a huge bonus for the players. They should really find a way to fix that next time around.
