India will have another tricky fourth-innings chase to negotiate here. I ****ing hate those. :( It's not good for my heart.

Just read this comment on cricinfo and agee totally with it.

Harshad: "Given the sledging Sreesanth is receiving, I hope Dhoni does not sell him down the river this time and say he needs to control his temper. He should do that in the dressing room but in public needs to support his bowler. The South Africans are no saints. Nobody obeys the so called 'line' anyways.. so Dhoni dont ever do that again to your bowler. The opposition are gonna gang up on him. "
I agree. I don't particularly like Sreesanth, but the South Africans are not exactly angels.

Still have to study for over 8 hours for an exam at 9 am tomorrow. Woke up early for the Ashes today too and I cannot study till end of play today. Oh well, Red bull, I guess.

Imagine how much you'd hate them if you followed a team that didn't have Laxman (or Yuvraj ) in it.
It's only the last 4-5 years where we've been good. Still can't get over failing to chase 120 to win a series in WI... :( Or Chennai '99 for that matter.

We had a first innings lead in the third test back in 06 as well, albeit batting first. Still lost that :(

The problem is the broadcasters have no incentive to improve. No one's going to stop watching cricket because of the poor coverage.

Having a first innings lead batting first is actually a lot more impressive than having one batting second in South Africa, even on win-the-toss-and-bat pitches.

I need to be studying too. A lot. Have done sweet FA in an hour now. So much for my no more procrastination new year resolution.

Hahaha, I know the feeling only too well. I had an exam a day after the Hyderabad ODI in 2009; God knows how I passed it

Can't think of anything more exciting in recent times. 1 vs 2, series levelled in the final match and scores even on day three with all results very much possible.
