Amla against Bhajji at the start of his innings is gonna be crucial. Best chance to get him first up

Smith's gone! Come on Sreesanth, do this for India and I will take back every freaking bad thing I have ever said about you.

But you have got to be able to back it up. If Dale Steyn talks trash, it is because he has the ability to bowl 150 km/h thunderbolts. It makes no sense for Sreesanth to run his mouth when he clearly cannot back it up with some good bowling.
So only guys who bowl 150Ks+ should sledge? It isn't about looking tough, its about trying to make the batsman make a mistake.

Nah, I didn't say that. I said you should be able to back it up with good bowling, which Sreesanth doesn't seem to be capable of doing. He got Smith soon after that verbal spat though, so if that is actually working for him, I have no problem with him running his mouth. An Indian win is what matters to me.

I think sledging should be banned but if it's allowed I don't see any problem with Sree doing it if he thinks it helps to get wickets. And in this case it may have actually worked. And in general I am pretty sure Sree would be just as crap if he didn't sledge.

smith walked away from the crease knowing that if india win he will be at fault for SA not chasing the score down
Hardly. He would have loved to stay longer and perhaps he got carried away after his exchange with Sree but he gave SA the perfect start and turned the match around. With Amla, Kallis and ABDV they have the batting to win the game and it certainly won't be Smith's fault if they don't.

Well, expected worse from Alviro than that. Obviously a specialist opening batsman will always be disappointed to get 25 odd but in the terms of how South Africa were going to chase this down (if they do), I reckon they'd have probably taken that. This is such a crucial partnership now though.

errr it was a rash unnecessary shot when he was in complete control and he had not even scored a 50.

now india have more than a sniff, it would probably be 82/0 right now had he not played that shot, not 82/2.

he will be extremely disappointed.
