haha you have to admit though if there was a single it must have been somewhat tight. And 9.9 times out of 10 you wouldn't risk being run-out over facing one more ball for the day. Collingwood unlucky there (in a condoling sense), just like Clarke was against Pietersen.
Yeah hence if. I'll say more when I see highlights.

The thing about a couple of the dismissals in this match, Pietersen today in particular, is that because Johnson was shaping the odd ball back in, all of a sudden the batsmen are playing at balls they otherwise wouldn't and edge them.

The ball isn't bowled in a vacuum.
That's probably generally true, but with Pietersen I dunno about that... He just changed his bat, and I suspect he just had a bit of a brain ****. Sometimes shots are just poor, regardless of the context, and I think that was one of them.

All this talk, but Australia still have 5 wickets to take including the in-form Bell. England can make Australia toil tommorrow if they can apply themselves like Hussey (and Bell in the first innings).
I like your pessimism, but no...just no way...

We're a completely different team with an awesome Mitch Johnson. So happy he's coming good :)
You are, he is the only matchwinning bowler you have. The trouble is nobody knows if he will do it again next week or revert to the buffoon of Brisbane.

Yeah but if you're talking abou a bloke who you can expect to rip through a team on a semi-regular basis, all we've really got is Johnson, which is why it's so encouraging that his inswinger his back.

Didn't really get to watch any of today's play (work and then a 21st), but was Mitch getting any movement?

And take me with you. I'll do anything.. I'll even pretend Morgan is a good player.
Haha loving the English 'posters' throwing their toys out because they got a reminder that they're not king ****. gtfo.
It's a refreshing change from the Aussie posters throwing their toys out because they got a reminder that they're not king ****.

And Ryan Harris WAG. Have always liked watching him bowl.

Quite sad that people genuinely think that performances like he had in Brisbane are "regular". It's a complete and utter myth.

Yeah it actually is very odd to see Johnson take no wickets. Even if he bowls trash he usually picks up a couple.
