Funny player Anderson. I swear when he first showed up he was actually a lot better (or at least gave that impression) than he currently seems to be. It seems as if he has actually regressed somewhat, in a similar vein to Denilson perhaps. I swear when he was in the side more frequently around 2007 and 2008 he really looked like he was showing the potential to step up as a replacement for Scholes...or maybe my memory is just dodgy.
He looked a good talent at Porto but has been a complete and utter flop at Man U. Career will head the same way as Carlos Alberto, another ex-Porto midfielder who promised so much.

Denilson on the other hand is a good player, just playing in the wrong league.

Anderson is overrated just because he had a decent game against Fabregas a couple of aeons back. Can't really pass, can't shoot to save his life, and not particularly creative either, but for some reason people seem to think he has great potential because he's Brazilian and makes a driving run from midfield once every 10 games. He won't come close to replacing Scholes.

Geez Lionel Messi is an awesome player. Only 23 and he already has more then 100 La Liga goals

And RIP to Rafa Benitez.

John Terry is a ****. His scuffle with Cahill earlier is the only time i've wanted the Aussie to come out on top. Cech can sod of as well, take that stupid hat off.

Nasri has shown incredible improvement this season, especially in dribbling and providing a direct threat. Would have been harsh to take him over Malouda last season though.

Wasn't a straight choice between the two, tbf. Hacks like Toulalan & Valbuena went ahead of Nasri, which is as bad a call as SWP ahead of Johnson and/or Theo IMHO.

Think he would have flopped anyway under Domenech TBH. :p

France looked so much better in the recent friendly against England.

Very true; Domenech was just pooey pants dire. Him fluking his way to the last WC final set France back 4 years.

I think he's found it hard to shake off his tag as an assistant managed to be honest. Despite him doing a good job I'm not particularly surprised, given Newcastle's history of handling these sorts of matters. Bad luck though, came across as an earnest and likeable chap who as I say was doing a good job. Hope they get relegated now.
