Yeah, I was mainly trying to point out the stylistic differences there. Even in terms of style, I'd say he's closer to Hussey than Lara. But a lot of things about his game are reminiscent of Waterboy.

North is not terrible he just needs to add consistency. A couple of 30s and 40s between those hundreds and his record would be pretty good. He only averages like 3 runs less than Symonds did and he seems to be playing really badly.

Cardiff wasn't exactly smooth sailing either, he came in after fall of back to back wickets from where the innings could have fallen apart.
Well yeah but if we're going to set the pressure bar like that - which I don't think is a bad thing myself - then the whole "innings under pressure" debate will be completely different. In fact I think you'll find the overwhelming majority of test innings are then counted as "innings under pressure" which I find personally reasonable myself as there is no such thing as easy test runs

That ball from Jimmeh to Ponting was a beauty. Loose looking shot from Clarke though, very much like Siddle to Collingwood in the last match.

North to make a hundred, Harris to prove himself as the best bowler in Australia by Test match end.
