Well India comfortably won the first day but NZ have edged or comfortably won the next 3.Can they finish the job off tomorrow or will there be another twist.

Might have to get up early tomorrow and watch this one.Has the makings of one of the most memorable tests in a long time due to the surprise factor of an unrated side challenging so much against the number 1.

It looks like India will have something to bowl at but I don't think the pitch is that bad and the Indian bowling certainly isn't that good. Even if India sets a target of 200 I would back NZ to get it. That is why the Dhoni wicket was so huge. With him there, there was always a chance of a really big partnership to secure the draw. Right now that's not looking likely and there is a strong chance NZ will have a makeable target tomorrow.

One of the best things about the old version of Chris Martin in 2004-2006 is he could produce brilliance from nowhere inbetween the filth. Fingers crossed he's back for a last hurrah this year. I don't expect consistency because he never has been consistent but hopefully the Martin of 2008-2009 is gone.

That Martin spell is the best spell of bowling in at least 3 years IMO. Can't think of anything better.

Love that everyone has come here to cheer on Kiwis. When that's happening you know you're the #1 team. Everyone hates you

Where? At Perth maybe, not in SA.

Have to take the pitch into account, as well as the match situation. He's got 5 top order wickets on a flat deck.
That spell Johnson bowled in SA against Kallis and co was awesome itbt. Didn't see Martin's efforts so can't compare. But Johnson's spell has been the best I've seen for a while.

What about Steyn recently in India? Honestly it was a very good spell by Martin but I don't think it was that phenomenal. Some poor shots by the Indian batsmen.

The Perth one? I know it was, I'm not saying it wasn't awesome at all.

Just saying that I think Martin's was better. They're both ****ing amazing.

To be honest there isn't a lot to dislike about NZ though. They make the most of some limited resources and generally punch well above their weight, yes they have had a rough time but they lost a lot of good players.Good to see them on an upturn.

If we can get a lead of around 180 before we're all out I think we will be in with a chance on a fifth day pitch. I reckon Zaheer and Ojha will be the key with the ball, but we need a lead of at least 180 just before lunch to have any chance of a win.
