You could have hit it for four.

yeah.. reeks of defensiveness that. Never giving him the new ball. He is still the most likely to be a matchwinner among your bowlers.. Take the punt and give him the damn new ball...At least Johnson doesn't have to open the bowling today. To be fair though his best spell in the first ODI was his first one!
Yeah it was much better last summer, had a nice bit of green on it. Hopefully they will change it come the Ashes.Looks a road, tbh. Not all that much bounce either.
Hmm, he's long been bowling first change for Australia in ODIs though.yeah.. reeks of defensiveness that. Never giving him the new ball. He is still the most likely to be a matchwinner among your bowlers.. Take the punt and give him the damn new ball...
Marcus North? So what do Australia need?
A wicket, dumb arse.So what do Australia need?
To be fair, when there's been rain about, curators tend to play it safe with the wickets and keep it dry, flat and with little amount of grass. It gives them more margin for error if the rain hangs around for too long, where the covers can cause the pitch to sweat.Yeah it was much better last summer, had a nice bit of green on it. He bowls a lot better with the older ball though.yeah.. reeks of defensiveness that. Never giving him the new ball. He is still the most likely to be a matchwinner among your bowlers.. Take the punt and give him the damn new ball...
Marcus North?
Meant SL you smartarses.A wicket, dumb arse.
Oh ok, didn't know that.To be fair, when there's been rain about, curators tend to play it safe with the wickets and keep it dry, flat and with little amount of grass. It gives them more margin for error if the rain hangs around for too long, where the covers can cause the pitch to sweat.
History would suggest 250 means a win most every time at Sydney. Then again, as I'm typing this they're going off, so Duckworth-Lewis will calculate this out to about 760.Meant SL you smartarses.
It's funny, you'll often see in grade cricket on hot days that there are sides rolled for not very much, where curators have done the opposite and pumped moisture into the pitch when it's boiling.Oh ok, didn't know that.
