Sachin comfortably ahead of Lara now he always had the edge I suppose but still you could argue a case for Lara but I think this latest run of his clearly put him ahead of Lara.

Reckon once Raina goes tonight there'll be another mini-collapse. Judging by the way the pitch is beginning to play up, if either team has a first innings lead of more than about 30/40 it's going to be a neat advantage imo.

I want to agree with you. but memories of 153*, 400*, 375 and 277 make me question this temptation. sachin needs doubles against australia and in south africa, one of which should be above his 248* against bangladesh. then i will be swayed a little more.

I would be really surprise if any of the players from both sides get a double in South Africa.

South Africa will continue with their policy of producing low scoring wickets against India.

I beleive in the last 2 series only 1 or 2 players from both sides has averaged above 40 there.
