Whatever it takes!!!
Who the **** are you?

That's rhetorical btw. I know who you are well and good.

Look, these threads have been filled with vitriol for years.. it's unfortunate but it's true. Those of us who've been here a while well know that the comment I made was tongue in cheek and a reference to the fourteen thousand "vs" threads there have been on here.

If you think that post was offensive, report it. You'll be laughed at. And this latest pseudonym of yours wont last long.

And fwiw the ninja smiley is precisely there for mischief-making. It let's people know you're taking the piss.

Haha, fair point.

But sorry, post reported, offends my fanboyism...
lol.. tats more like the Burgey we know.. :)

I would honestly like to get through one test match without everyone putting their heads together and saying "hey, I have an idea! Let's bat like ******** ****ing monkeys for the next 10 overs"

TBF, this isn't the best example of that. That was just a bizarre patch of cricket.

I'd say the win against England in '08, the wins against SL and SA earlier this year and the Test we managed to draw in NZ illustrate your point better.
Doesn't matter, they were going at 7 rpo at one point, and Ojha and Harbhajan kept hitting the spots and creating chances.

Team doesn't drop its head in the field like they used to.

Draw out of the question for mine if these two bat slow. If these two play it slow here then that just means it'll be an easier target for the Indians on Day 5.

Doubt they'll be thinking draw yet at all, tbh. The lead's a touch over 120 already so I'd reckon they'll absorb the Indian fightback for an hour an then, provided they don't lose a wicket, then look to accelerate.

I mean, you'd hardly be taking quick singles if you were just looking to occupy.

haha, first controversy.

Commentator has no idea, balls taken close to the ground like that almost always bobble like they've bounced. Fairly out for mine.
No way really... Watto caught it well into his palms and that ball would never reach there if it hadn't bounced well before him. Pretty obvious from Watto's reaction as well (fair play to him for suggesting it didn't carry)... There is no real point in having a review system if your 3rd umpire is gonna give THOSE out.. I mean, that was just OBVIOUSLY not out.. His little fingers were simply grazing the ground there, not sawn up so as to catch the ball and it never went near his fingers, he got it well into his palm straight up which is impossible given how much the ball was dying unless it had bounced a little in front.. Sorry guys, that is just incompetence of the highest order from the 3rd umpire... What's the point having a review system if THIS guy is gonna make the decisions..

Really? Almost everyone on here was laughing about how out it was.

bookies still got a draw as favourite at $1.94. All I can see happening is Hussey and co. will play ridiculously slowly and eventually they will fall to good balls, without many runs on the board (much like first innings).

Disagree entirely the catch didn't carry. The more times I saw it, the more I thought it was the right decision.

I really hope so.

Brendon Julian just said that was the first time Sachin has been out to an Aussie spinner in India, that would be very much wrong. 1996, McIntyre got him, first innings caught at slip.
Not to forget Warney getting him to an awesome catch by Taylor at Chennai in 98 for 4 or something...
