Didn't expect to see Roddick out so early - though watching some of his match on replay this evening, frankly Tipsarevic deserved the victory far more than Roddick. Some controversy over a foot fault too, with the linesperson telling Roddick his wrong foot was over the baseline which hardly impressed him.

Best tournament, this. :p Just Isner to go and all the annoying serve cannons are gooooone.
I can totally identify with that....
I really enjoyed watching Llodra playing leftie S&V tennis to send Berdych home.

But even better than that, Jamaica's Dustin Brown won his match in straight sets, and next faces Andy Murray!

I rather like Roddick though, he's got a good all-around game. He's just never in the right mental place to win majors is appears.

Also Isner is the man. Best thing coming up into the men's game right now as he is such a joy to watch.

On another note I am quite upset over Oudin's exit. I fancy her (as in her game not her) a lot, and especially to become the next big thing for American tennis, but she seems to be having a tough year. Hopefully she can find her game next year and really make a big impact. Azarenka going is really no surprise but in the way she did kinda of was. Still liking the Wozni v Kim re-match for the title, but that's about the only thing worth watching now that Oudin is out. At least that's how I see it since the WTA is such a bore anymore. The quality of the ATP is just miles and miles ahead.

I dislike Wozniacki's tennis but wow, she looks hot in that outfit. I want her to progress for that reason alone.

I am in agreement on the outfit part. I like her tennis, it's a little different then every other Eastern European's baseline forehand grind.

I've seen Azarenka collapse or close to it on court so many times now. I know this one was apparently concussion and not heat stroke, but you still have to wonder if tennis is the right career for her. She's talented, but it can't be good for her health.

Is there a prettier shot in tennis than Petzschner's slice? I don't think so.

Professional tennis isn't good for anyone's health.

So you're betting on Robredo to fluke his way to yet another 3rd-4th round only to get caned by the first decent player he comes up against? Sounds like a pretty safe bet. :)
