Pretty tame end to Aamer's long vigil. Looking like he was actually trying to run a wide one down to third man; was wide enough to have been left pretty comfortably.

I wish Warne could stay on the commentary team permanently

I do believe we will be hearing him this winter though?

Yeah, he's good value. Witty, articulate and a nice line in dry self-deprecation, which belies his reputation.

He joining 9 then? As long as Healy's been humanely destroyed we're good.

Actually if you remember from last time, we have our own commentary team over there for the Ashes, and I believe Warne has joined them for the series.

We did also generally tend to have a 9 guy in the box and IIRC the Aussies were borrowing our guys as well. Worked pretty well, but yeah we get our own feed for the Ashes.

Don't remember there being an Ashes in 06/07, tbh.

Haider playing a few shots now. Lead down to 11. Will've deserved his 50 if he makes it.

It may not help them get a result in this particular match, but the Pakistani batsmen who've scratched around at the crease will be benefited in the future, perhaps Umar Akmal should take note.
No, leave Umar Akmal alone. Nothing wrong with him playing his natural game, what he needs is a middle order around him that doesn't fold constantly.

Sky didn't exist the last time the Ashes were held in Australia. Don't know why the Aussies haven't bothered to hold a series since 1986/87

As much as it'll annoy me to watch, wouldn't mind seeing Zulquarnain make a ton. Deserves big runs for actually knuckling down and toughing out some runs instead of feebly chucking his wicket away.

And these English bowlers are becoming old time aussie's....

Why cant they just shut their mouth....

There is NO excuse for Broad's **** actions.. what does he think about himself? Another McGrath? Lol.. wannable..

I bet he won't last even 50 matches if he continues to be a **** like this.

BTW Swann must be brought on against Ajmal now.

Not content with making Ajmal look like a world-beater with the ball they're now trying to make him look like a world-beater with bat.

Bowl properly ffs.

When do I start getting worried:unsure:

This partnership showing that the pitch really has no devils in it. England's bowling has dropped off a bit for some reason.

Zulqarnain Haider has played very well, ably supported too.
