This may well already be happening, but if Lionel or whoever gets it in his head to wear a ban for a while, I reckon he should be allowed back.

A lot of what he says may be annoying, but assuming this isn't the most persistent piss take since Spanish Vicente, he actually seems a passionate cricket fan.

Actually, on reflectuon, he may have been the bloke who was at my joint this arvo, he's that painful.

He was a troll - but an amusing troll. I will miss him.

I don't think anyone could put up with the amount of criticism he took unless he was enjoying it.

How long is he banned for mods. Permabanned or temp and if so how long.

I agree.

He made a couple of decent points as well as BruceCampbell which i agreed with in some respects.

I think his problems is that after his first ban he wasn't clear about the reasons or the duration of the ban.
Or i am taking him too seriously.

Btw, till when is Sir Alex banned?
seeing that everyone else involved in that episode is back. Though Sir Alex was the most serious offender.

regarding hurricane's 'bring back bruce' petition-

i am all for it.

he also had an interesting idea about creating a cricket web 'gang' whose sole goal would be to spread the word about cricket development to the masses. i would have loved to have seen how he would have gone about creating this gang and i was quite excited about joining up but he got banned before i could ask him :(

For a bloke who clearly isn't thick, and who gives the impression he might well have something useful to contribute to the forums, his inability to understand simple instructions is remarkable, and very disappointing

Having debated why building a super, brand new 30,000 seater stadium in Glasgow is a stupid idea, I'd disagree with the bolded part.

You're in a much better position to judge than I am and I suppose my original post is a bit of a non sequitur anyway - I should perhaps have thought a bit more - I'd have more accurately articulated what I was thinking if I'd said that it seemes as if he might have had something of interest to contribute - although if he had it might well not have been enough to justify the effort finding it would have involved
