Randomly switched the game on whilst eating Nandos.

There is peri peri on my TV. Enthralling 10 minutes or so there.

Germany and Spain finishing second in their groups would be interesting for England.

At least it's taken a week before the first genuine prank-referee reared his ugly Spanish face.

Still think Germany would finish top if they lost here, as Serbia have already dropped 3 points so they'd have to lose/draw against Ghana too, otherwise they'd likely pip anyone else on 6 points on goal difference.

Other than that Germany are generally pretty savvy at getting other players sent off themselves and levelling things up. Like their comebacks too.

I don't care if any other german gets done...just leave Lahm alone...recently drafted into my fantasy team...

It's pretty obvious Jerry hasn't had the rub of the green so far, but that notwithstanding given the difference in their performances is so marked I can't help but wonder if Oz really are just that horrible?

Not trolling, I hasten to add. Genuinely want(ed) to see them qualify.

Sadly, I reckon we're just that bad. Clinging to the hope though that we can turn it around tomorrow night. Playing at least one striker would be a good start.

Have to agree to a point...germany starting to look a bit more dangerous here now though.

Genuinely want England to go out first round :p

Astonishing ball from Ozil there.
Said it before he's like a bigger, stronger version of Modric.

Under Verbeek we've never looked that good at all even when winning.
