Group C - England, United States, Algeria, Slovenia

Still fail to see the logic behind picking a defender that isn't capable of training properly, and is almost certain to get injured at some point during a tournament like this. Jagielka would have been a FAR better option. No bias there at all.

So if there's a tie after the group stage on points, how do they decide the seeds?
first tie-breaker: goal difference (that's goals scored or, in USA's case, gifted by opposition 'keeper', minus goals conceded)
if still tied, goals scored
if still tied, head-to-head record between tied teams
if still tied, head-to-head goal difference and goals scored
finally drawing of lots.

It's a great stop, but it doesn't redeem him, because we probably wouldn't of been so stretched if we were winning. SWP and Lumpard are ****e.

Right on cue, SWP wastes a massive chance. Is he really a better bet than Walcott?

Frantic game this, with England clearly the superior side but let down by poor crosses and finishing. USA really disappointing for mine.
