Chapple will probably bat at 8 with Hogg at 7 tbh. In trouble again, but the way OT has been playing this year in the CC we can battle to a decent scoreIs Smith out injured? Huge tail with Chapple at seven.
He has had en excellent start to the season, but unfortunately for Worcester he's not had the usually reliable support from the likes of Vikram Solanki and especially Phil Jaques.Moeen Ali blazing away again for Worcester, wouldn't be surprised if he was fast-tracked into one of those random Lions or performance squads.
They are indeed a completely pointless team. I'm quite glad that we put out the strongest side we could, because it would have been embarrassing to lose to them.Having a look through their squad, there's supposedly an emphasis on allowing youngsters a chance to step up to a first class side, yet most of their squad is filled with late 20s or older ex-county flops.
Edit: CW throwing a minor wobbler here.
Anyway yes definitely a making-up-the-numbers team. Surrey missing out on a rare opportunity when they can outbowl a side and boost their run-rate.
Yeah Benham at 3 really needs to stop and Mckenzie seems to be getting worse.Funny thing is, Jaques had never made a FC 0 before this season.
What a surprise from Hampshire. Relying entirely on Carbs to score our runs. Vince played nicely, but really needs to start kicking on and making centuries. Benham and McKenzie have been dire and after Ervine and Cork there's very little batting to come. Just gotta hope Kabir Ali does something special with the ball and Herath makes an impression.
To be fair it is only Gloucester who can't can't bat.4/34 from 16 overs for Tremlett. Surrey performing well atm after their very poor start and have reduced Gloucester to 196/9.
