The most obvious player I can think of not included is Joel Garner. Probably Johnny Wardle too, if you think he played enough games.

Johnny Waite as stumper?

Jack Cowie ahead of Gillespie and Johnson perhaps.
Still like Blackham. One of Australia's finest keepers and a better batmean than his average suggests. Very tough for batting during his era.

Don't know if Cowie played enough matches tbh.

That being said, I wouldn't quibble to much either way

"C" Team

Chris Gayle
Martin Crowe
Greg Chappell
Shivnarine Chanderpaul
Clive Lloyd
Dennis Compton
Clyde Walcott
CS Nayudu
Courtney Walsh
Curtly Ambrose
BS Chandrashekhar

Looks good enough to compete against most teams listed over here

And kudos as always to CK Nayudu for playing a first-class match (against the MCC tourists of 1963-64, IIRC) at the age of 68.

Yeah, Nourse, Noble and Ntini certainly. Never really saw Sidhu at his best.
Thats not all. CK Nayudu, after the age of 50 still averaged 30 in FC cricket with a bowling average of 35:-O. Link - The Home of CricketArchive

And a batting average of 39 over 5 matches after the age of 60:surprise:

Link - The Home of CricketArchive

Amazing achievement to still be playing FC cricket regularly even after the age of 50, to the age of 68. Even more amazing to still have a good batting average at that age:jawdrop:

Physically sickened by my enforced choice at 3.

Also disappointed not to have a specialist at 4.

Batting overall a bit weak. But a fine bowling line up with 2 top drawer quicks, 2 top drawer spinners and Oakman and Quaife competent back-up seamers.

International 12th Man
^ Only Englishmen allowed or did you forget Nourse, Dudley?

Starting where you please in the alphabet, here's another:

Gavaskar Sunil
Hobbs Jack
Iqbal Asif (not Faisal!!)
Jones Dean
Kallis Jacques
Lara Brian
Marsh Rodney
Nissar Mohammad
O"Reilley Bill
Pollock Shaun
Qadir Abdul ( 2 good leggies rather than pick Chris Old or Iqbal Qasim. Plus team has Kallis).

Opener pair to die for, 2nd best all rounder of all time, bowlers all very good bordering on greatness. Very competent keeper and not a passenger on this crew. Asif Iqbal to captain.
