How would you describe the way Harmeet bowls? Sort of like overhand offcutters. Very pretty out of the hand in the slow motion replays. Much the same way the seam looks wonderful out of Murali's hand.

Still no KP, and yet another RCB loss. They need to get him back in the side. Sure Dravid performed decently today, but I still think having KP in at 3 would be so much more effective. White and Taylor have done nothing of any note. They're paying out $1.5m on the bloke, he's a damn good T20 batsman, yet can't get a game. Doesn't make sense to me.

I'd like to see them going in with:

Pietersen
Taylor
Uthappa
Kohli
Dravid
Vinay Kumar
Kumble
Steyn
Praveen

Would consider getting Goswami in to keep and dropping Dravid, as he'd just be wasted at 7, but that's the strongest batting line-up they can put out I think. Dravid has done decently, but having him at 3, more often than not batting alongside Kallis isn't the best way to start the innings. Those 2 have the propensity to bat slowly, especially Kallis, so having someone like Pietersen, who 9/10 is going to strike at well over 100 offers the side more AFAIC. Also makes me want to watch the game too, as there's been very little interest for me of late, what with KP and Ravi being left out of their sides. I want KP especially to be getting some time in the middle before the T20 WC. He might as well come back to England and play for Hampshire if RCB aren't going to play him; like Napier did.

Drop kallis and get in Kp. Dravid to open. Would do wonders.

Both Kallis and Ganguly should swallow their pride and move down the batting order. It's insane to waste the early overs on batsmen as slow as Ganguly and Kallis.

Ask any Australian supporter, WRT White, who was hardly bowled since being picked as a specialist Test spinner. And Pietersen, with achilles complaints in recent times, won't be too keen. We've seen how someone who a passable ODI bowler in Symonds regularly gets collected (or at least when I've seen him), and how bowling part-timers rarely comes off.

Spinners have dominated IPL and conditions are helpful to them. Also I don't think getting them to bowl 2 overs each is a huge thing. Kp, I don't think believe has already bowled in this IPL without being carted (have to verify). White cannot justify his place as a batsman alone, and if he can be selected as a test spinner, surely he can get through 3-4 overs without getting massacred?

The only issue will be that Brc would've only 2 pace bowlers. Perhaps they'll have to drop appanna and get in p kumar. Or they could drop white also.

Kallis must go imho. Kp should play.

Yeah VDM needs to come in Taylor should probably be close to getting dropped. Obviously hes great in this format but you can't keep holding out for form at this stage of the comp.

Don't see why VDM should be considered ahead of Pietersen. He's bowled awfully whenever I've seen him recently. Bowling 1 paced half trackers. He barely bowled in the domestic competition in South Africa, and only took 2 wickets at 52.50. KP's actually done a decent job in T20 with the ball. Has 15 wickets at 23.60 and an economy of just over 7. Also offers far more with the bat than VDM will ever produce. Struggling to see the logic behind that call tbh, VDM's not the same bowler he was a year ago, gone rapidly downhill.

In a league where money is flowing like rivers we should be seeing the best players from all over the world, this limit is stiffling the series. It will probably increase the ratings and take the series to the next level by increasing international popularity.

Just an observation, why is it that despite the IPL being held in India where (I assume) <99%, there are no dark skinned cheerleaders?

I'm not trying to be racist or anything here, it just seems odd.
