Funny old game. Steyn was bowling 155kph last game for Bangalore; quick as lightening yet gets no real reward. Rocks up here, bowls within himself, a mere 138kph on average and takes out the top order.

Kallis got carted again. Does his average really need to go above 50 again for RCB to stop persisting with him?

I suppose it is a good thing for DC to get 'tens'* from Jacques, then they have something moderately defendable.

*I'm still on the fence over the term "going for tens", I admit, it is a handy threshold for when a bowler goes from having one or more bad over to being super expensive.

Not sure he was within himself, it is just that someone with his sprint to the crease and intense action will probably fatigue eventually, especially since his last game was just two days ago.

Turning into a pretty good game

Bangalore werent helped by Kallis reverting to test mode after playing brilliantly for the rest of the series

Yeah, great stuff. Gone from probable Deccan win to certain Bangalore win back to certain Deccan win in the space of five minutes.

:laugh; @ harris. Has an eco rate of 10 in the tournament now. The one who was dropped to accomodate him had 6 odd,

Worst example of partisanship.

Conveniently ignoring the fact that he was one of the best players in this match

eh? Vaas was dropped for Roach.

Anyways, Harris was pretty good tonight aside from one bad over when Uthappa went after him. Started brilliantly and bowled very well in the last over also. Was great last match also, but don't let that get in the way of your ramblings. Would like to see Vaas back as well but he was dropped for Roach and lets not forget his last game wasn't brilliant either.

Yeah forgot the last over when he had to bowl to Bradman Kumble and vinay sachin kumar 8-) with 17 runs needed from 6 balls.

What's his figures so far?

There is no reason other than partisanship for not playing vaas over this chap.
