*Official* Indian Premier League 2010

King Pietersen

International Captain
Ojha averages 24 for Rajasthan, this is only his 4th half century in 18 games. He might have more IPL experience but he's hardly got a record that suggests he should definitely open. Especially when Lumb, the natural opener is in very good form. Having a right and left hander at the top of the order generally helps too; and Watson's the far better option between the 2 righties.

Watto gone. Awesome innings but more excellent bowling from Bollinger. The lowest economy of all the bowlers other than Bollinger is 9 from Jhunjhunwala; Dougy's bowled 2.1 overs 1/5. Awesome bowling.

Bloody stupid work on field from the Keyzips in the last few overs.

Bopara you ****.

Wow Lee just wow.

And arjun welcome to earth prime. You'll be glad to hear Virat and Uthappa are doing much better than their earth one counterparts.
You're unbearable in this thread mate. Swearing, laughing at players constantly, very annoying.

How does australia churn out quality pace bowlers like doug? What a find! It's impossible not to like this chap's innocence and dedication.

Not Terrible
Yeah no way the Royals had the batting to chase that huge a score but they played out of their skin to come so close.

Adam: "@Afsar - hi, I check cricinfo right before I go on to the field every time; just in case you have any suggestions about how I should go about captaincy. Your point has been noted Afsar, I'll try sending Rohit in a bit earlier. Thanks, where would I be without you!" Nice one
Nice.

MI seems to have posted a reasonably good score. However Sachin imho is not adopting the right strategy by going in for 5 pace bowlers and just 1 spinner. I am glad I was wrong about rayudu.

However bravo is still struggling. I think he will have to make way for jaya. People talk about pollard being a failure in this IPL. I disagree. He's contributed what's required of him and in the process of going for the big ones has been caught at the ropes which has brought his average down.
