Brown's been amazing.

We've done well though, just lacking that leadership (and height and strength) in the last which Judd would have provided.

What is the temperature like in Victoria and WA like at this time of the year? Because teams are certainly struggling come the start of the 4th quarter. Granted both West Coast and Carlton both ran out of steam (it looked like WC did at least), but wrt to humidity, I wouldn't say it is overly humid at this time of the year. But in saying that, I do live an hour's drive south of Brisbane.

No mate, are you?

I've been to both games this year, and will be going to plenty more.

It's awesome, isn't it.
I'm not, but I can get in pretty cheap and have boundary line seats at the aid of my best mate's aunt and uncle who are members. I think I only have to hand over $30 at the most. We are right were the players warm up and the bench is only 20m away.

Love the bench, that's where all the action happens!

Much prefer second/third tier on the wing myself, get a real good view of the game that way.

Yeah, poor Dees.

:kicking:

****house game from Collingwood, but we'll take the four points. If teams regularly manage to force Shaw and Maxwell to be accountable on the last line, we're going to struggle, need Nathan Brown in and firing. Travis Cloke needs to pull his head out of his arse as well - getting thrashed by a midget like Joel McDonald is embarrassing.

Still, four points is four points. Did feel bad, on some level, for Pettard at the end.

Actually, without wanting to sound patronising or defensive, I think Melbourne will be a much better team this year and surprise a few better fancied opponents. We were poor, but they were better. And you'd hope that after a while top draft and priority picks would improve a team! I can't remember where I put them in my predicted ladder before the start of the year, but I think they'll be well off the bottom this year - probably in the gaggle of teams 10-13 just outside of contention for the eight in the end.

The dees have a good history of getting themselves up for games against the pies. Poor old Collingwood, have to be switched on each week or a fired up side will come out and blast them out of the game.

It's a tough life. Got to say, this is a horror start to the season - today's match wasn't even on FTA TV ffs, and next week we're going to Docklands for the second time in three weeks! Think of the travel fatigue! Collingwood fans get no consideration!! :@

Nah no way. I like the Dees, but name 3-5 teams that will finish below them.

Richmond are the only real guarantee (:() ) and maybe Freo, no one knows what they'll do. Who else?

Btw, Essendon being able to have Lloyd's name replace "Coventry" at Etihad Stadium for the "Coventry" end is nothing short of a disgrace.

**** I hate you Essendon.
