Well we may be Southern, but we'd swop for your trips anytime, never easy traveling from down here, has been better in this div. Yet the weathers not helped, don't want to fork out for a train to find it snowed/rained off.

Got no excuse myself apart from the fact that I have no money and often have work on saturday, only been to one away game which was at Charlton.

My fixture attendance has been distinctly average this season, too. I will be at SJP for the first time since August next Saturday for the Colchester game - and I'm still considering Swindon away (now less attractive as it's on Sky) and Tranmere away during the Easter holidays.

How do you travel to aways Pickup?

Give me a shout if you're coming up this way and fancy a pre-game beverage or whatever

What's the odds that Spurs screw up so all the teams fall over themselves to let Benitez fester over here for another season.

This is why I can't decide whether Liverpool getting fourth would be a bad thing or not. Worst case scenario, they finish fourth and sack Benitez anyway.

Meh we always lose to Everton, and def. aren't finishing fourth with both Arsenal away, Tottenham (who we also always lose to) and United still to come. We'll finish below Liverpool IMO.

Spurs in the Champions League makes me sick tbh. Honeslty looking like no one else wants to be in it next season.

I don't doubt that we want it, we're just ****ing ****. All of the midfield are either flash in the pan one good game in three type players (Johnson, Barry, Wright-Phillips, Petrov), or just plain past it (Vieira). The only one who's consistent is de Jong but he isn't going to run play. If Tevez/Bellamy doesn't play a blinder and run the show from trequartista then we have nothing.

Then there's the defence.... the less I say about that ****ing shambles, the better.

I think Liverpool will probably get it by default. Always seems to be the way, the only time in the last five years or so that the top four was breached was by Everton but Liverpool still found a way into the CL by winning the bloody thing. Tottenham will bottle it.

Never forgiven Fifa for letting Liverpool in that year, was a joke. Make up the rules as you go along.

A - You mean UEFA
B - Holders not being in would have been a bigger joke. Cup winners should always qualify automatically and their nation should always get an extra spot, IMO. Plenty of times in the late 70s and early 80s there were two English clubs in it.

Exactly so; plus Toffees rather proved Liverpool's point by jibbing the qualifying round too. Only them and the Geordies of our lot have failed to make the CL proper since the group stage has had 32 teams in it, I think.

To be fair though, was refereeing of epically poor proportions that stopped them from making it through, if I remember rightly.
