Probably because his best days were before 1988 I'm guessing.

More surprised Sticky didn't go until the 2nd round TBH.

Maybe but hes definitely the fourth best halfback of the generation (if you include Sterling in this generation which is a stretch) but hes certaintly behind Johns, Sterling and Langer for mine.
