*Official* England in Bangladesh

I want B'desh to push for 450 from here, and then Shakib to do something special, It's been so depressing to see B'desh playing with their hearts on their sleeve, capitalizing on some sessions and then suddenly choking. One win against england would do wonders for them.

Sure but it isnt isnt as if Broad and Bresnan have bowled 30 overs each. There has not been the workload for 3 seamers if 2 spinners are bowling over 60% of the overs.
Think it is largely because England cannot mentally concieve going in with less than 3 quicks, not saying I agree but I cannot remember them ever doing it.

Cricinfo:Bangladesh's No. 10 and 11 have both made more runs in this innings than in their previous Test career. (And No. 4 equalled his previous...) :D

Cook's filed placing is unbelievable. IS he ******** or something. When you have Rubel on strike you want every fielder around him.

Haha. Does that mean it's an excellent pitch for batting or they've just done well today? Bangladesh are really starting to compile very good team totals. The batting lineup is almost sorted, just the number 4 spot and Tamim's opening partner the only real issue in the top 8.

Tricky little season before lunch, hope one of the quicks gets a wicket.

Nafees and Raqibul IMO.

This is where Bangladesh tend to fall apart. In past series, they will have a good bowling spell and dismiss a team for less then 250 (like they did against India), and bat poorly, or bat well, bowl poorly, or bat and bowl very well and get ahead in the game, but come the 3rd and 4th innings they tend to fall apart. They can sustain it for one or two days, but after that, something might go against them, and then they fall to pieces.

But if they could nick a few quick wickets...

Can we for once put the idea to bed that it makes sense if your 4th bowler is not very good that it strengthens the attack to add a 5th that is worse (obviously if they were better they wouldnt be the 5th man)?

Looks like the Bangladesh bowlers are really testing Pietersen out here, judging from cricinfo's ball-by-ball commentary. Pity, if he scores a hundred here, it will be filtered out of his average in the stat wars of the future.
