The game on Friday night was one of the better games I've seen in a preseason comp. Never worth reading too much into the NAB cup, but it was encouraging to see Ball and Jolly run around and look so good. Saints still going to be a problem for us unless something happens to Riewoldt.

Just got back from the NAB Challenge match between Brisbane and Hawthorn. Most dour game I have been to, mind you I suppose with the teams playing into 50km/h winds don't help.

Even though it was a pre-season match, todays effort has really got me excited for the season ahead.

75 point win with 13 different goal kickers against a relatively full strength Richmond team.
