Is Franklin no longer considered a bowler? Just curious, I've been away from the cricket world for a little while now. :(

Yeah, just wondering why he's not been bowling today when other bowlers have such high ecomonies for us.

EDIT: According to Cricinfo's articles, he's been in great bowling form this season and was called up to replace Oram. Pretty confused why he's not been given a single over. :S

EDIT: All that was still about Franklin, not Styris. :p

I hate Franklin now.

Not because of him exactly, but odds on he'll be remembered as a pie chucker whose domestic batting never translated to international cricket. A bits and pieces cricketer.

People will forget that he used to be a very good test swing bowler averaging 27-28 and a useful lower order batsman.

Not that it's of any importance at all but I would've given MOTM to Hauritz or Ponting over White. Not that White didn't play very well, of course, just thought they played better/more important roles.

Congrats to Australia for sealing the series. A pity we couldnt run a full strength side at them but they beat what was in front of them and beat them well.

Don't wish to pump the guy up too much, but get the feeling White is on the way to becoming an all-time great ODI batsman.

Perfect combination of big hitting ability, and skill to bat like a true middle-order batsman. Played so many crucial roles over the past 12 months, taken the number three position, been the death-over slogger, guided Australia to victory on 3-4 occasions now.

Fast becoming a good candidate for future captaincy, one of the finest slip fieldsman in the world and he is still only 26. Now I’m pumping him up.

Like that side so much more than the bits and pieces team we are fielding at the moment. Williamson to come into the side in the not too distant future too.
