I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Haha **** me, 160.7! That was the quickest over I've ever seen!
If that's true........0.3 Tait to Imran Farhat, no run, 160.7 kph! Phew, full outside off and Farhat reaches out to drive and he misses
Whenever I've seen Nannes bowl, he wears a proper orange outfit.........Whenever I've seen Nannes bowl (IPL) he bowls this pace.
I always thoguht Nannes was a lower 140s kind of player.Whenever I've seen Nannes bowl (IPL) he bowls this pace. Always seen him bowling 150-odd.
What were Lee and Akhtar's respective high speeds??
I was most perturbed by Gul consistently bowling 146-147, he hasn't got near that all season in NZ or Australia.
This debate was already done in another thread but I sincerely believe some radars are friendlier than others.
Happened in 2003 WC iirc. There is video footage of the same in u tube.Apparently Lee bowled 160.8kph so he has Tait by 0.1.
Akhtar 161.3 allegedly. Both against NZ.
Both wasted then tbhApparently Lee bowled 160.8kph so he has Tait by 0.1.
Akhtar 161.3 allegedly. Both against NZ.
Nah, he's pretty damn rapid, especially for a guy in his 30s already.I always thoguht Nannes was a lower 140s kind of player.
The one I read about was against NZ in 2002 in PakistanHappened in 2003 WC iirc. There is video footage of the same in u tube.
4 over spells...I was most perturbed by Gul consistently bowling 146-147, he hasn't got near that all season in NZ or Australia.
It's a splendid performance from the World Champs nevertheless.It's official;
Australia are as bad at Twenty20 as Pakistan are at cricket.
160.9kph isn't actually over 100mph. It's rounded up to 100mph, but it's only 99.98mph.The one I read about was against NZ in 2002 in Pakistan
I do however distinctly recall that he bowled a 160kph plus ball at the 03 WC and it was a back of a length ball to Nick Knight. It was over 160kph but not sure if it was over 100mph (160.9). I know it was celebrated as some kind of first, not sure if it was the first 100mph, or the first 160kph+ on the basis that the Pakistan radars were just assumed to be dodgy.
Lee's fastest was allegedly to Craig Cumming in NZ in 04/05 but I don't remember it at all.
That's an awesoem pic indeed.160.9kph isn't actually over 100mph. It's rounded up to 100mph, but it's only 99.98mph.
Akhtar's fastest was in fact 161.0kph. Hence:
