1 good game against Bangladesh and people changed their mind about Zak? WOW!Zaheer has come out of his rustiness and has started reversing the ball again. The two spinners Bhajji and Mishra are not push overs by any means. The series should be an exciting contest.
I met Irfan couple of days ago in a wedding function!Intresting to read about this groupism within the indian team headed by Dhoni on one side and Sehwag on the other. . Recent rift being the Ojha/Mishra selection during the Bangla Desh tour.
The group composition within the team is
.Dhoni Camp - P Ojha, S Tyaagi, Sachin, Zaheer, D Kartik, S Sreesanth, Yuvraj, Bhajji
Neutral - Rahul, Laxman, M Vijay
Sehwag camp - Gambhir, Ishant, A Mishra[/I]

Am I allowed to start crying for the exclusion of Parthiv Patel? He is scoring runs + doing not bad a wickey and deserves a recall...isnt it?Sorry about the late reply as stated above by someone else S Ramesh and Hemang Badani i cannot for the life of me believe what Hemang did wrong always performed well for India. Robin Singh should have most defenitely been given more chances earlier in life the ammount of drop kicks that we awarded test caps to in the 90's was just ridiculous. Debashish Mohanty Dodda Ganesh there was one ridiculos opener who came and played here in 2001 Devang Ghandi I think his name was. I remember Robin came and performed admirably in the ODI's that followed and everyone was saying why he was not included in the Test squad. Even Dinesh Karthik keeps getting robbed. I noticed he was dropped for Saha the Bengal WK what has dinesh done wrong one bad shot in Bangladesh when we all screwed up in that first innings. Or what about L Shiva never being recalled to the team despite stellar first class performances with bat and b all.
What about Thiru Kumaran just as good if not better than some of the medium pacers who played for India. or the talented leg spinner Balaji Rao who know plays for the canadian national team. Even right now L Balaji is way down the pecking order. He is a great limited overs bowler much better than our man Dinda as we saw in the IPL. Yet Munaf
Patel and co keep getting chances. What about Ashwin keeps getting thrown at the bottom of the pile aswell because of Ojha and Mishra. Need i say more?
Having said that all that my thoughts are very biased towards players from Tamil Nadu its because im patriotic there is nothing wrong with that and although Kris Srikkanth did not have the greatest record he did form a great opening partnership with Sunny.
I am really happy that Regional Bias are changing but i will always be Biased towards my state and there is nothing wrong with that.
Im just praying the duo of Vijay and Badri stay staunch for years to come.
He was never a good wicketkeeper and the fact that he hasn't improved means they will always go elsewhere... Plus, this is more like a shot at DK to get his act together. I still think they will pick him for the next overseas tour. Now he gets a shot at playing the Duleep final...Am I allowed to start crying for the exclusion of Parthiv Patel? He is scoring runs + doing not bad a wickey and deserves a recall...isnt it?
yeah.. the fact that he is actually reversing the ball also plays a part, I think..1 good game against Bangladesh and people changed their mind about Zak? WOW!
Well, it's an Indian tour match tradition to go after opposition spinners and try to get them dropped so teams will go with four pace bowlers and then prepare a dustbowl.RSA seamers – 37.4 overs 8 for 128
Spinners and McLaren – 37 overs 1 for 183

Apparently the Indian top five were all taken out by the short ball and Parnell got the ball to reverse nicely.
Might as well go in with four seamers (Steyn, Morkel, Parnell and Tsotsobe), hope to bat first and then bat for four days giving Sehwag the fifth day to score a double duck.
14 players!10 bowlers? wtf?
yeah.. coz that is exactly how he will go in the tests..63 ret hurt off 58 balls for everyone's favourite boring batsman.
