Did I just hear Cullinan say this is the best England team touring SA since readmission?

Forgotten 2004 has he?

JP!

This may get interesting.

As I wanted as well, Collingwood out. Hope Prior goes too and Bell saves the day. Would be cool.

Boyc sticking the boot in on Harris.
Though, the tour of India will be hard for Smith, especially with no spinning options available and questions marks over the third seamer. That could break him.
Speaking of Harris and the tour of India, I really do wonder how he'll go. Harris is awesome when it comes to keeping the pressure on and out-thinking over-ambitious batsmen when the conditions aren't in his favour, but I'd never back him to spin South Africa to victory on a turner (even though he did do it in Pakistan early in his career). He was pretty much awful last time he toured India and with more pressure on him to be a strike bowler again it wouldn't surprise me if he had another absolute mare. Tahir's the alternative I suppose but debuting as a leg spinner in India is a tough ask and it'd be pretty harsh on Harris to drop him anyway. There's Botha I suppose... a least he can bat.

We should be fine still yeah, I am just really hoping that Bell stays in as surley he and not Collingwood or anyone else for that matter would unfairly get the blame.

Think we should take this knock out of his average as clearly these runs did not matter

Also, Bell to be out next over

I can't believe Collingwood only scored forty; it seemed like sooo much more. He deserved at least a half century for it. People ought to remember innings like this before moaning about how he always get dropped on the way to a ton; it was worth infinitely more than the scoreboard suggests.

Ohh ffs, I like our lower-middle order, but they're not really ideal for this situation. Would prefer Giles-Hoggard types TBH.
