Outstanding all-round performances from Hussey and (especially) Bravo, tbf.

Dave Warner was the key wicket and NSW just couldn't find a match winner despite the best efforts of the two Smiths.

Just returned from the terrific game at the MCG. Domestic T20 cricket in Melbourne is alive and kicking with a huge crowd and fantastic atmosphere at the game.

Thought the Victorians were quite flat early on, far too many half trackers allowing Warner and Jaques to free the arms. Bravo was superb with the ball, such a canny user of the slower ball. The two Smiths combined well at the end, I thought Steve Smith batted quite smartly, he obviously cannot muscle a ball over the MCG fence, so just picked his gaps well, moved around the crease.

Good move by Victoria to send Wade into open. A slightly risky innings with a number of uppish shots alluding the fieldsman, but his innings really set up the win for Victoria. I thought the game was lost when Smith and Henriques put the clamps on the innings, nice tight bowling combined with White's inability to play any big shots. Nice cameo's by Hussey and Bravo at the end. The two catches by Smith X 2 just incredible. I thought the Dwayne Smith catch was one of the finest outfield catches ever, then Steve just had to upstage him with an absolute ripper.

Terrific game in the end, Bravo is the new hero of Victoria. Crowd was going nuts at the end cheering Bravo on.

For those watching at home, did they televise the blow-up-doll in the crowd? Was a riot, thing did a half lap of the MCG through the crowd and alluded the security guards for a good 20-25 minutes.

Estimated crowd is about 25K, won't be an official figure released as the ticketing was rather primitive (Admit One). Has to be the best attended domestic game in a number of years, I think a FRC Final a couple of years ago had about 28K between Victoria and the Bulls.

Taity arrived at the Oval about 10 mins ago, should be a great match - I'm getting a little bit excited!

If you're in Adelaide and thinking about coming down & getting tix at the gate i'd be getting here soon, there's a steady stream through the gates already.

Redbacks twitter updates have begun already: Redbacks (RedbacksT20) on Twitter

Also, check out Afridi posing for the camera at training yesterday: Shahid Afridi in the nets today on Twitpic, what a legend. Hope he has a big one tonight.

I think Corey is coming to the match tonight too so expect the usual analysis from TC,

Anyone see Shahid Afridi just then jump out of the way of Symond's deliveries to make them a wide?

Hilarious stuff

Man how many times do we see a fielder take the catch, throw the ball back into play, jump over the rope and jump back in and catch it.

Wtf was deep mid-off doing so in?

Give Pollard a life (and a 4) and you're stuffed.

Should be SA's game from here.

Will finally get a T20 bet right.
