Only one side can win this now but can England push on and force the victory their dominance deserves?

This Saffer attack is not very good at all.

They are close to the weakest attack in world cricket. They just lack any zip.
To be fair they are hampered by 2 of them being injured/finding fitness after injury and the fact they have stupidly picked Ntini on past glories.

If they picked de Wet or Parnell they would instantly improve to become a good attack again, especially when Steyn gets fully fit.

Morkel bowling too wide here. Cook more than happy to ignore anything that far away from him.

& over to SS3 I go. Bloody football.

Ntini on. Interesting call from Fat Gray. Morkel has been wide, but reckon he deserved more than 3 overs with the new cherry.

Ntini gunbarrel staright so far.

Vaughan currently making a very big deal about Cook's technique regressing since he reached 3 figures to what was causing him so many problems previously - moving across to off stump far too soon apparently.

Steyn doesn't seem to be a factor against England; they have his measure.
Yeah, we're like Kryptonite for him. Looks really ordinary in this spell. Looks like he's putting a lot of work on the ball, but it's refusing to swing one iota now.

& that's tea. 281/3. Good session for us. :)

Well this is rather suspiciously good from England, we are a funny side at the moment, Collingwood looking very solid at the moment, his form has really picked up from the ashes. Having said that we will probably have a little collapse at some point.

Unless he learns how to swing it again, he'll struggle. That used to be his main weapon.

Surprise surprise, Cook fails to go on and make a big hundred. Good innings all the same though. Belly in now, pleaseeee score some runs!

Cook out shortly after the 100 shocker.

One of those batsmen that if you fast forwarded to him on 50* or 100* he'd average less runs from that point than he does from 0*.
